Homework for the week of June 3-6:
Review pages 16-21 which we read in class, the guided reading sheet and the video notes.
Look up recent news stories on "Uncontacted Tribes" using internet new services. Write down FIVE interesting points about the recent discovery on the back of your Rainforest Video note taking sheet.
Answer 2a and 3c on page 14 of textbook.
Complete the worksheet on time zones. (Study the intro paragraph on time zones and understand how to find out the time in different zones)
Homework for the week of May 26-30:
Complete the political map of Latin America (countries only)following map rules (G group only)
Read pages 10-14 of the Latin America Text and complete the Guided Reading handout.
Write a 1-2 page journal as one of the characters in the film "Roots" describing your exeriences over a couple of days. Use September 10, 1767 as the entry date. Use your video notes to add detail to the writing.

Read "The Slave Trade" define the highlighted terms in your own words and answer #1,2,3 in your notebook
